Contre Attaque Year:2024 Primavera 2022 from Upper MoutereContre Attaque is a fresh, juicy take on Mourvdre from the hills around Espira de lAgly in Roussillon. Usually known for dark, powerful reds, here the grape is handled with a very short fermentation on whole bunches, which gives a lighter colour, bright fruit and plenty of energy. The vines grow on clay limestone soils with touches of schist, so the wine keeps a clear mineral line beneath the fruit. Farming is organic, the grapes are picked by hand
